Need Help!!

Just picked up a hpi bullet mt 3.0. Need some parts loomi.g to upgrade to aluminum part can anyone help me???

What parts are you looking to upgrade specifically? I would recommend against aluminum arms because they aren't as durable as other materials.

I agree woth hamz moving parts are better off plasyic or rpm shock towers buck heads chassis parts stuff like that are good to go alumium with unless your wanting to keep it light

^^ listen to them lol. I did parts in aluminum I shouldn't have before. Aluminum has no give so you just end up breaking everything they are bolted to, learned that lesson the hard way heh.

were is a good place to get parts for this truck they seem hard to locate.

I've had a few hpi rigs and I still have my MT. My advice is trade it lol. Hpi is very hard to get parts and it just gets harder, except for the savage I guess.

I typically have to order from other countries for certain parts and very few shops carry parts.

Last time I broke an a-arm it cost me 50 bucks because it came from Canada and I looked everywhere!

I've always had hpi... What do you suggest to replace it with?

Well if you want something that has easy to get cheap parts, associated or traxxas are hard to beat. You can pretty much replace all commonly broken parts for 10 bucks with RPM stuff on eBay, and most hobby shops carry them too. Losi is nice but much pricier than both of those.

I guess it depends on what ya want exactly. Stadium truck, SCT, buggy, monster truck? Nitro or electric?

Traxxas has the Revo which is similar to the bullet. Very nice rig and plenty quick.

Oh btw I'm not suggesting to get rid of it that was just personal opinion from my experience with them. if you are attached to it and don't mind spending by all means keep it. I used to have many hpi's too but these days just too costly and rare compared to others.

So IF it was me I'd trade lol.

Love the nitros...
Only ever had truggies but would love to get into buggies
Tried the on road but found it borink lol
So i tradded my traxxas 4tec for this bullet...

I hear ya I hate on road its as exciting as watching NASCAR lol. Associated makes a nice truggy, as for buggies I'd recommend a 1/8 scale. The associated rc8.2 is a bad ass buggy as is the losi and mugen but going with the parts thing, associated or losi is earlier to get parts but losi costs more.

Need Help!!

Adriansmith: Not to burst your bubble.... But I absloutly HATE this RIG
I got the Nitro MT just like you... I made a mistake & bought my Friend's Bullet MT Flux electric Rig..........
My Nitro Rig sit's on my R/C Bench currently apart / just fixed the MT Flux & ran it for 15 min & it broke again.....
The Problem with my MT's are the front Drive Shaft's keep breaking & binding up & jamming & breaking the inner hub's where the shaft connect's & spin the wheel's & currently the part's are OUT OF STOCK on Tower Hobbies & none of my LHS in my area have parts in stock for the BULLETS... I am trying to sell my Electric Bullet MT & I am so sick of wrenching on my Nitro Bullet MT I think I am just going to Strip the Engine out of the Rig & toss it the the Garbage Can & cut my loss'es might even thow out the Electic MT too.... I should of stuck to just Traxxas.... Well I am 100% TRAXXAS NOW I just got a Slayer Pro 4x4 From Tower Hobbies I should have my Slayer on 5/23 5/24...
My Advice to you Adriansmith Get Rid of your Bullet befor it Breaks & get something Else it's only a matter of time befor you have problems like I have with THESE TWO JUNK RIG's.....
