hey guys i was just surfin around the net and i found a couple of links and stuff to a new HPI F1 car..they are both hot of the press articles from red r/c....i think the car is called HPI Formula 10...it looks totaly sweet and i thik there is a chance that F1 r/c's could make a come back..

anyway here are the links..:

http://www.redrc.net/2009/04/hpi-racing-formula-ten-update/

post up what yoou think..i think i would buy one..

also in the first link i noticed another new looking body behind the f1 car...not sure on anything about that

The first link doesn't work.

But it looks pretty sweet. Gonna need somewhere super smooth to use it though, thats the only problem.

Looks like a carpet muncher...err racer. I wouldn't mind having one. But closest track is nearly 2 hours away.

The design looks spot on.

I'm glad to see it seems to be based on 1:10 pan car. That will make it drive more like a real F1 car. Very cool idea, and probably very affordable.

looks pretty good! and yeah i would think it will be set at a reasonable price too, can't see any reason why it wouldnt be.

I would love to have one if I only had someplace to run it.

same here, only only nice parking lot i have around has alot of small peices of gravel laying around on it, the same reason it sucked for my drifters.

Can you imagine how cool a dozen of those tearing up a carpet road course would look? Unfortunately, like a lot of other guys, I have nowhere to race it..

Kinda cool if you have an indoor carpet track to run it at. I LOVE F1 so anything like this is going to peak MY interest. I wonder where they will price this 'lil gem? Anyone wanna take bets? I am going for $239 street if it's RTR....

HPI is really doing a good job the last couple years at creating a new niche. This could do the same thing for on-road as the TRX Slash has done for off-road. If these things are reasonably priced I guarantee you'll see these fill up a class overnight at local carpet tracks. If it's RTR, we'll probably see a lot of spec racing. That would be sweet.
