I've had my baja for about 3 gallons of fuel which is for me is 2 seasons. I've been running klotz techniplate synthetic oil at 25-1 ratio along with an ethanol treatment. The carb is set at 1/8 of a turn in from factory settings and at this point I have a perfect looking spark plug and very good compression. Hope this helps, Steve

Yea I had plan to get some klotz oil for it. Mines not a hpi I didn't know what it was and it looked just like one but it's a king motors 001. What would be some good upgrades for this thing. I'm pretty sure it's all factory.

+1 on the ethanol treatment,....carb,pipe,belt drive, and loctite will be the best mods imo!
