Hi, guys I want to upgrade my savage XL 5.9 engine for a stronger engine, was thinking about lrp zr32.
But I don't know if is any stronger.
Recommendations PLEASE.
Thanks.

I have both and LRP 32 does has more power and like MudSlinger33 said it is easyer to tune , will drop right in your XL with no problems

But, can I use the hpi roto start on the lrp 32 ?

There's really no comparison between these two motors. I two have owned both and the power and quality of the Lrp 32 is far superior to the 5.9. Not raggin on the 5.9 as its an ok rtr engine but go for the Lrp u wont be disappointed. Youtube it!!!

How abut the hpi 5.9 clutch shoes , bell and flywheel can I use those on the lrp 32 or I have to get diferent ones. Is my first time with lrp engines.
Thanks.

Everything from the 5.9 swaps over from the collet to the clutch bell/crank screw. The .32 come with its own brass collet, ball cup for the carb arm and a socket head screw for the cb/crank but I just used all the components from the 5.9 and it's a perfect fit. Cb bearings and shims all of it, I even tried to add an extra shim to bearing but it ended up being to tight and seized it up the cb. Go for the .32 u wont regret it!!!
