This is thew first cyber connection I have had in a month. We've been living like we're in prison since I arrived on the ship 2 weeks ago. The unit has finished our prep for the mission 2 weeks earlier than the command had thought and the troops have gotten restless. We built our stuff and configured it in less than a week with a virgin crew. I could not believe how well they worked together. I mean an experienced crew would have had to really have their stuff together to build as much as we did in the time we did it, let alone a virgin crew.

Hopefully I'll be able to hit another internet connection before I leave here in the end of July. Happy trails!

Mission Accomplished in record time. I am so proud of each and every troop I brought with me. They were able to execute the impossible in record time. I am at Sea-Tac right now waiting for my flight that we arrived 10 hours early for. I'll be home tonight.

No such luckof a home stop yet. I'm stuck on O'hare. The flight from Seattle was delayed 2 hours so Imissed my flight into Norfolk,I am scheduled to fly out of here tomorrow at 8 in the morning. I'm usingthe cyber terminalat another USO here,Imight even manageto dosome more surfing this evening but I think sleepwill be better served.

I'm finally home. Actually I got home last night but after spending almost 48 hours for transit time I sacked out. You know how great it feels to sleep between clean sheets after your only refreshing shower in 2 days??? Sky, weekend looks kinda bleak. My ex got home from Disney World with my daughter this morning and I am spending time with her since I have not seen her in almost 2 months. Maybe next weekend.

I'm already one step ahead of you, I broke the batter charger on my camcorder while I was in Washington. I also broke 8 sledgehammers, lost 4 radios, lost 22 locking pins, lost 4 pineapples, lost 2 tanker bars, and the list goes on and on.... Oh yeah one of the morons that works for me sucked up almost 300 feet of line into their screw and forgot to tell anyone. No wonder why they lost fuel efficiency. The divers pulled the line off the shaft a week or so later and a large amount had melted to the shaft from the friction of it turning, mind you the water temp was in the low 50s. No one was killed or seriously injured so it was a pretty successful mission.

welcome back el. your presents always makes the board more interesting. it's too bad you will be busy all of august. the bashfest in ny won't quite be the same without your gas grilling techniques. Seriously, welcome back.
