Put that goliath in the ring with Hoyce Gracie, he'll be tappin like a lil bitch... lol

A submission fighter will almsot always beat a boxer. The boxer is lost when he gets on the floor. And Gracie would have field day...a few seconds and tap tap

Put Gracie with all time best olympic superheavy wrestler Alexander "The Experiment" Karelin and Gracie would be out. A few moves and it would all be over.

Rulon made his fame scoring a single point on Kerelin, and Karelin was at the end of his career. No other athlete has come close, for 9 years of competition nobody could score a single poin on this machine! beat this

Royce wouldn't stand a chance against Value or anyone else with a stand up. Royce is soooooo one sided with BJJ he has absolutely no stand up. Watch any great stand up guy fighting a submission specialist and they keep the fight on the feet. Mirko Crocop is one of the best at it. Liddell is another. Hughes will so take Royce to school in May when they fight, he's a well rounded fighter and Royce is still just one sided with BJJ.

Gracie and Huges are going to fight??

First a submission fighter would have to get this giant down. I dont know too many UFC guys that would get an athletic 320 pounder to the ground without taking some punishment from this boxer

that Gracie Hughes fight is what I'm waiting for....I didn't even try to see the last lidell / couture fight.....I saw some clips looked like chuck was pulling that cheap thumb gouge trick I've seen him do before....AND he was using the fence to get the ref to split em up....lil cheap IMO.....I guess when you are in the pro levels you learn to work the rules as best you can though.....

BTW, I think Matt is gonna rip hoyce a new reality hole and plug it up w/ his fantasy of winning.....from what I've taken, (not much) BBJ is non structured and too wild to use as your only skills......defensive forms are replaced by honing reflex....even Jeet kun do uses structure to the form and that's tauted as the most versatile stand up style by many.....w/o it (form) you are left more to instinct and less to reflex and training, IMO

Hughes and Gracie (Royce) will fight in May. They announced in the last Ultimate Fight Night in January on Spike. Really not sure what Dana White is trying to prove with this. I'm more anxious to see the Hughes / BJ Penn rematch whenever that is going to happen. I'm hopin' Matt can hook a brother up for one of these fights.

Plaid, the Liddell / Couture fight was a good fight. It was clean, no cheap shots. I don't recall Chuck using the fence, they really didn't clinch too much. I'll watch it again when I get home. I think Couture was trying to dance around as much as possible to get it into the later rounds and see how good Chucks conditioning was. Unfortunately for him he slipped and Chuck caught him.
