I have heard of people scoring the bodies and snapping off the lexan. I have always used scissors . I was wondering what the best way to do it is. Do you score from the outside or the inside? Any tips and tricks ? Thanks for your time guys.

I just did mine the other day. I cut as much as I could off with scissors then scored it with a razor blade. Just take your time and be careful. I Jed black electrical tape to outline what I was doin, trying to make sure I didn't go over the tape, helps with making straight lines and wheel cutouts.

So I cut out the body today. it looks Ok(i'm kind of impatient and feel much more comfortable with a wrench in my hand than a pair of lexan scissors and a razor blade.)

Post some pics. The one in my avatar is the one I just did on Saturday.

Tho I usually use scissors it's easiest to score from the outside. That's where the body lines are recessed so you can run the blade in the groove.

i have to admit...when I saw the title, i didnt expect this to be in the thread lol

are you able to stretch the electrical tape enough to get a clean line around the wheels?
