I'm just about finished painting my Baja Bug body for my Mini-T. I saved the headlight step for last. Since the body didn't come with decals I'm not really sure about how to go about painting them. I want them to have the "off" look. The only idea I had was maybe to do a crackle of light gray & pearl white.

Any ideas?

Well, if you want to get fancy, there are a few cool ways to go about it. Since you want them "off", I think grey will be fine. You might get a fine paintbrush (like a 00 or so) and just paint in the grey streaks. Then back with white. One cool place to go look for stuff is on CFX Paintworks. There are a lot of good painters on there and a ton of How-To's....

CFX Paintworks is definately where you want to go for all your painting "How To's"... The Pro's on that site know their stuff.. A big Thumbs Up...

Lessen post some pics when your done. Id like to check it out.

Very cool. What headlights ya got on there now? They look pretty real.

LOL! They're clear bro, I just left 'em till I find out what I want to do with them. Actually, I thought they looked pretty real too after I mounted the body.
