Well my tank cracked today and i can't get my hands on one unless i order one off the net, so i decided to try and fix mine heres what i did. Got out the micro torch and melted the place where it was cracked, while doing this got a little to close and mad e a small whole in it. So i took some plastic off another part of the tank and melted it to the small whole. Then to make sure it wouldnt leek if there was still a whole i put RTV over the spots where the cracks were. I was just wondering do you think this will hold up good or will the nitro eat away the RTV?

thanks-
nick

i melt new peices of plastic to my holes.....

nitro will melt rtv.i used a soldering iron and melted my crack in my tank togther then i used jbweld over the crack and its been holding up for awhile now but the best bet is just to get a new tank you're much safer that way

Yeah i got it patched last night at 11:00 but havnt tested it out yet, ill test it tonight. If its still leaking ill get some JB weld form the store. Ill do this tell it breakes again then ill replace it. Thanks for the help.
