I believe psunitro did this a while back. You'll need to run a larger center diff gear to compensate for the larger diameter truggy tires. You'll also need to install spacers underneath the diff gear mounts so that the gear does drag underneath the chassis. You can use long body mounts from the Ofna dominator and get offset wheels to widen the stance.
You need this kit, I think he sells it for $50 now. Pick up a spare spur or 2 as well. You need offset 17mm whells, or the Ofns spacers(30mm), I actuall used BOTH, and it was too wide. You will also need to raise the th/brake servo(spacers). I used Monster Pirate body mounts, buy you could use RPM TMaxx ones and mod them.
This is a "cheap" way to go, maybe, but it is not a racer.....
The spur is a $8 plastic piece. You will want this plactic, as it is a easy, cheap fix instead of somewhat expensive(relitive) clutch bells, as a hardened spur will eat a bell.
So switch to plastic, right? OD 99, or ofna 51007 plugs with no bar. I am going tto see if my hobby shop will trade the tires and wheels, for the plugs.
I got a o.s A5 GP for it. I switched from OD's 30% and whent back to 20% and retuned and it runs like a champ!! I have the LSN flush and the HSN right at 4 fat. It is running 273 degrees in 95 temp and 98% humidity. My right back wheel stoped turning 2 times but I think a rock got in the yolk and arm. These things jump with no problems at all!
