Charles check out the MC2 2 shoe clutch also.Its a great peice,best I have seen for the Revo.I just put one the Platinum with an OS .21TM.Cutch shoes,3 different springs,and a bump box flywheel.

Thanks rob, that helps me a lot with the selection process. I'm trying to find a lot of JR servos, the 9100T or whatever it is, because I need one in the revo for the brakes, one for the axial, and one for the baja, at least.

The sad thing for me now though is that the two 985Mg's I have I use for t/b on my aftershock and my buggy. Since the aftershock only works well with two servos for steering and I had a nice JR digital on my buggy for steering, I get the benefit of strong, fast servos running my throttle/brakes that are also sealed for my peace of mind. I'm not sure I'd have spent $70 on them just for that purpose, but after selling trucks, it's what I had. Now that I have it, I won't risk running much else for t/b.
 
I'm using a JR 9100T (370oz) for steering, It seems to get the job done with no problems. A servo that I would give some serious thought to is the Ace DS 1015..Associated sells the same servo but it's $10 more for the Associated name..It's listed at 200oz but it's way under rated..and it's really fast.. .10. I have seen it sell for $85..great deal on a great servo..throttle servo is the 1013..good numbers same price.
 
I would think there must be a point where the human mind and body could not react any faster to need more speed in a servo.I thought I read somewhere it was .15 sec. What do you guys thik?
 
You kidding?!?!??!? It takes me 5 minutes just to stand up from sitting in my chair! .15 seconds?!?!? I'm not sure of anything I can do in that time frame... other than maybe blink.

The 985 is .13 and it was too fast for me for steering on my revo. Took some real getting used to. 1, it had the power to hold it where "I" told it to go and 2, it was fast at getting there. Made an old bruiser like me look like a total newbie! Stupid servo... lol
 
I used to think .15 was fast. I can't believe it still, but I find myself wishing my throttle/brake and steering would react faster while racing.
