How long to charge batteries

hey guys just got into the electric part of r/cs

and i was wondering how do u figure out how long to charge a batt pack


for ex. a 1800 mah 7.2 volt nicd i was just wondering if there was like a formula or something for it

It all depends on how many amps you are charging with.
The more amps the faster it will charge.
You will always get a better charge going slow.
Best thing to do is invest in a good peak charger.
You will be able to adjust the charging rate and it will automatically shut off when the battery is fully charged.

yeah i was going for something faster cuz the one i have is like a 5 hour charger and thats just a lil too long for me it charges at like 500mah and it sucks

lrp quantum 1 or 2 theonly thing is you would need a power supply but you will get the proper charge that is needed up to 10 amp depending if you go with lrp 2
