How long did it take you to assemble Savage SS!!

Sup guys,

One of my buddies owes me some cash. He's got a Savage SS kit and I told him I would forgive the debt for the Kit (I'm losing money but better lose some then get none..lol). I drive my buddies Savages all the time and they keep asking, "when are you gonna get your own phucking savage".

I'm a pretty damn good builder but I'm no pro by any means. I was Curious on average how long it took you guys to build the Savage SS kit?? The best thing about the KIT is that I can add some much needed hop-ups while I'm putting it together.

lol it took me like 17 hours But i dont think anyone should build one that fast, The long you take to build it the better it will be alos the hard stuff comes preassambled

Welcome to the real truck thread!!! J/K I hear the kit should take about 12-14hrs stock. I am sure you know what mods to add but do the diff mod and the monster pirate steering mod. You will thank yourself later.

whats the monster pirate steering mod? I have one hell of a time w/ my steering. It's way to soft.

i built mine in about 8 hrs from plastic bags to fully built started at like 9:30 am and ended at like 6:00 at night then proceeded to wait a week until I could break it in.. KK 's took about 6 hrs because we both worked on it (Him A LOT more than me) but depends on the person...

A lot of guys swear by it. I just picked up some Duratrash bearings and an ofna servo saver and a 6V hump pack and all of my steering quandry's were solved.

It took me about 10 hours to build mine and add some hop-ups
