I'm just bashing around right now. Can I do without them?

No foams at all? I doubt the car will be driveable.

Would you drive your 1:1 car around with no air in the tires?

If you're talking foam inserts, it won't hurt to run without foams if you're just bashing. The foams give you that extra edge needed for competing in races. My first car didn't have foams and it wasn't that big a deal when I put foam in the next set of tires.

Depends on if you are talking about foam inserts, filters or tires. If you are talking about inserts I would tell you not to do without, foam airfilter never do without, foam tires unless you are racing you don't need them. Rubber will do nicely for that.

I am talking about foam inserts for tires. I just thought I could save a couple bucks. I think Ill just try it this weekend.

Hey Noop -

I'm assuming your talking about the foam in your tires. Yes you can "do without them". In an offroad RC You'll get increased traction and especially when climbing and crawaling. On-road your truck will roll easier and will be less stable but will still drive ok. With a touring car it's the same, your car wont handle as well and wont be as stable @ high speeds.

Thank you all for the info. Ill see what it does this weekend.
