thankyou :-) would be like 34+ or somert because my hpi rs4 3evo said 45+

What they put on the box, isn't always accurate.
They do that to suck you in. You can change the gearing to get a little more out of the Savage X, If it wasn't geared down already.

Dan, Rather than start a million and one threads of "does anyone know", try researching the threads that talk about it. Top speed is really overrated but holding a good tune while providiing power throughout the band should be your goal.

dan read the box it says 45+ so go alng with the professionals who measure the speed on a speed gun so they get it right and its not a guess

they put speeds on boxes to lure noobs in. Thats the ONLY reason why a 4tec was ever sold. Certainly aint because its a good car. If your a noob, the last thing you need to worry about is speed.

I'm not a noob iv'e had experance with nitro cars before and i have 3 them
thank you people

With all of that experience you should know that no one can tell you how fast an rc will be, there are just too many variables that can effect performance.

then you should know better. Because traxxas says the jato goes 65mph, doesn't mean yours will go 65mph. Its because they probably hit it one time, in perfect conditions which doesn't make it false advertising. You think a cen onroad really goes 80mph?? It might.. Being pulled behind a car..

Anyway..

If tuned right and on a smooth surface, the X will hover around the 37-40mph mark.
