No need to waterproof a DC motor. Some people breaks in DC motor, submersed in water. Also, waterproofing it will cause detrimental heat build up very, very quickly.

no need like said above to waterproof a brushed motor. and most brushless cans can't be waterproofed..(Due to venting)
