Depends on where you ran it last and how long you want to store it. If your storing it for a few days, then not much is required. If your storing it for a week or more, empty the fuel tank, put some ARO in the carb and down the GP hole, then turn the engine over a few times.

If you ran in water, snow or mud, then I'd hit all the joints with WD-40, the cvd/dogbone cups, bearings, ball cups and anything else prone to rust due to moisture.

put a ton of WD-40 in the engine and carb, then hit it with the ez start for a couple seconds, REPEAT, REPEAT..... I like to clean my rigs just to keep them clean. Also the end of a season is a good time to strip your rig down to the nuts and bolts and clean everything. Probably the only good part about winter is that it gives you plenty of time to work on your rig and clean everything. IMO the cleaner you keep your rig the longer it will last.

were i live i can run it year round so i dont have to store it.

I blow mine off with an air compressor, then wipe everything clean with WD-40 ;) And make sure no fuel is in the tank. Then I store it on a shelf in my hobby room. ;)
