I had to order a few things from tower so i grabbed a set of plain white dish wheels, so i can make some drift wheels with PVC. what size pipe do i need to do this?

any tips?

I forget what size I used, but I just took a wheel with me into a hardware store and found one that was gonna be tight and got that one, can't remember the exact inner size though.

did you use the thin stuff or the thicker stuff? did they work well for drift?

just buy a set of drifters :)

let me know if you decide to buy some. i have some i dont need anymore.

no experience with drift wheels, as i would just take out the front dogbone and burn out until rubber pellets fly off.
but, in my opinion, i would imagine each has its benefits.
the thicker will last longer of course. The downside is weight and wheel well clearance. the car probably doesn't have much suspension travel anyways, so you wont have to worry about body roll too much.

just my 2 cents though.

go on ebay and search "sushi drift tires". 10 bucks for 16 drift tires. there basically pvc with both edges curved fro camber setup. hope this helps!
