In the next few weeks, I am going to buy my first RC car.

It will likely be a TT-02, as I want 4WD. Specifically, I will probably get the Tamiya 58682 ('1991 Audi V8 Touring').

My plan is to put this BMW X5 body shell on it and I want some wheels similar to the ones in the included photo.

Unfortunately, Modelsport (as an example of one UK website) have 690x 1:10 scale wheels alone. That is so many and I have no idea what I can filter on the left-hand side to reduce the amount.

Is anyone please able to assist?

Not trying to come off as rude or anything, but I would seriously consider not choosing the TT-02 as your first car. It will 100% leave you wanting more and one of the members here @DavidB1126 has one and it won’t even drive in a straight line. Previously, in your first thread, we recommended the Fazer from Kyosho which would be a million percent better than the TT-02. We just want people to be happy with their purchases and not regret it later on. But I mean, you do you boo.

These are the closest I could find on that website with the style rim you want.

Since you have been warned of the tt02 issues snd wish to continue.....

Touring car wheels are 2.0 outer diameter. Some vta wheels are wider. I think 26mm width is standard, a hair over 1 inch wide.

The next thing you have to worry about is tge offset. That's closer to the chassis or further from the chassis.

The last thing is body width. Most are 190 or 200mm. Different widths require different offset to line up.

This body is 200mm. Tamiya states 188mm as a width. With this said you would need to get the chassis and body and see how much more offset you would need. Also look into body clips as this is an suv. Good luck.

Thank you for all of your responses; it is appreciated it.

In the end, I decided not to go with a Tamiya RC car.

However, you have given me plenty of information regarding RC wheels in general, that will come in helpful. Thank you :)
