I got an integy fan and heat sink and it either ends moving and grinding up my drive shaft. Or falls the other way and stops spinning. How can I keep it in place?

I bent the circle to be tight on the can. Of course, one spot of water pump glue (RTV) on the motor just outside of the heat sink area would keep the sink from leaning in to the driveline.

stainless steel safety wire .also heat shrink tube and a dot of silaprene...

You can usually squeeze the heatsink while it's off the motor to tighten it a bit then snap it back on

I dont think I'd put some kind of glue or other substance on an object that gets very hot. It doesn't melt and start smoking??
