Man I went to my dad's after work today to get some tools from the shop and I saw something that just makes me wonder....How the hell did I ever learn to take care of my toys.....notice the junk sitting in our restored 1950 MG-TD.....WTF...how in the hell could anybody do that

I wanted to get full glory pics but as you can see it's not easy to get at the labor of love for over 5 years....and this is how I see it sitting after not being there for about 6 weeks.........this sucks I need a new house w/ a garage......

I know what you mean when my Dad gave me my 59 impala he had it in storage and he must have had a ton of stuff on top of it, mostly carpet rolls, hes a carpet layer I was like wtf is he thinking lol. I now have it covered very well in my driveway and jump on my kids when I even seen them playing near it. Hopefully they will learn to help take car of it lol

I'll give you $100 for the car - that should free up some space for you :D

LOL yeah right.....I've put about 5000 into it myself.....it's just staying there temporarily until I find a new place.....the thing that kills me is we both have some coin tiep up in this thing not to mention at least 300 hours of work...and I see it being used as storage?!?!?!!? the seats will be permanantly dimpled from that kind of crap....not to mention the big cream colored blob behind it is supposed to be covering it so it doesn't get ruined.......I'm just sad to see it sitting there like this......I'll sell it.....for 25000 cash as is .....it has all the interior and top peices I just don't know how they go together ......

funny thing is, a guy i used to work with had one very similar to that, in fully restored pebble beach condition. he traded it for a harley worth about 25k. then sold the harley. he did that because it was next to impossible to get the value of the car.

I got a '67 mustang coupe that my grandfather gave me about 2 years ago. I started putting new suspension and stuff on it... new brakes.. i was wondering why i was doing that, because now, i need to strip everything out/off of the car and get her ready for some walnut blasting. It will give me a good clean start, instead of being all greasy and rusting still... it should be one kick ass car by next year or so...

yeah they are valued at like 60000 but I know I'll never see anything close to that from it...and the deal is 60/40 split when we sell it...the problem w/ selling it is, it has got to be the biggest "gettin some tonite" car I've ever been in...it sounds weird but every date I've gone on in this ends up really well...
