Nope, nope, and nope.

MT tires are heavier
The offset wouldnt fit.
It would be a buggy with big tires.

i tried them on at the lhs..they fit... my dog bones are all metal they can handle the heavier tires....any other things i have to look out for?

ok sure what about back tires only? i need some big tires for the sand...buggy tires just keep spinning and have very low grip

Bigger tyres will load your motor and electronics a lot more and make it faster and harder to control.

ok sure what about back tires only?

That'll just make it look stupid and handle like a drunken mongoose in a blindfold.

You are using the wrong type of tyres for sand then, it's not just that they are buggy tyres. Buggy tyres for sand do exist and work just fine.

Get some proline badlands for the sand, they should work pretty well, but ultimately you just need to get the right rc for the job period. you are asking a buggy designed to be raced on a dirt track and get good traction with great handling to do sh!t a monster truck was designed for...so good luck!!!

simple... put 100,000 in front and center, hard springs on rear, highest it can be. it will definately wheelie...

All your gonna do is blow your engine, diffs and so on. If you have a decent buggy you should be able to sell it for about 250 and just buy a MT. from the sounds of it thats what you want and need. Would save you less headaches and they are meant to be a all terrine cars. Hell, buy the new 4908 maxx and you will be just killer. Two speed, WILL WHEELIE, bigger tires, and way more ground clearance.

OK over your time here a few things have become crystal clear:
1. Your knowledge is limited. (you paid to have your engine put in and even broken in, you are consistently asking basic tuning questions)
2. You really don't know what you want.( one minute you want to drag race, next you want to drift, now you want wheelies)
3. you ask questions and then proceed to act like you know better when several people give you the exact same good advice.( havent you noticed people have been giving you stupid ideas lately they are tired of having good advice basically blown off)

If you really want to enjoy your stay here and really learn a few things then I suggest when advice is given listen to it. The first thing you have to do is ask yourself what is the most important feature I want from my Rig. You are expecting way to much from one rig its quite possible you will need multiple rigs. So far by the sounds of it you would be much happier with a Savage, Slayer, or a Revo they are fairly versatile. Last of all Buy a temp gun it is the single most important tool you can have and a Vital part of trouble shooting.

grudge...just dont reply to my threads...you act like you know whats going on in my head...you think i dont take good advice...

well i'm not getting the mt tires anymore...i just tied cable ties around the tires and its a lot better now in the sand (nice rooster tails :P) i asked the lhs guy if they have really wide A arms like the ones in sand rails...he said there getting some next month so ill just try to make it a look a like sand rail :P what do you guys think? i dont want to get a new MT and buy a new engine, filter and tuned pipe all over again...well on that thought buying a new MT and moding it will cost as much as the baja :P and i dont want to get a used one because you neva know what the owner did to it or why he wants to sell it...any advice on turning it into a sand rail... i know it has the round buggy chassis so ill see if they can cut it..

And now a Sand Rail Point proven Welcome to the ignore list.

If your going to be cheap, you will not have a good rig. You are going to end up f'n up what you have now by starting to make random cuts, and trying to mod chasis and frame. You can call me an ass-hole or whatever you want, i know i am, but you really need to figure out what you want to do before you start making random posts. By all means, we are here to help you out anyway we can, but you just keep changing your mind every other day on what you wana do..........

I would say after reading your posts, and Grudges reply, he pretty much nailed it on the head. You ask for advice then dismiss it, just look at the replies you are getting now, they are getting more and more rediculous as a direct result of your actions. You are rapidly losing any members that are going to be willing to help you, and I honestly don't blame them. You want wheelies, sell the buggy and buy a Wheely King.

i change my mind from your advice...I'm not trying to be cheap..I'm saving up for a baja and if you ever tried saving up for something ull know what i mean...(i spent more than what the buggy actually costs on it) $1200 actually

1. Your knowledge is limited. (you paid to have your engine put in and even broken in, you are consistently asking basic tuning questions)
they did it for me for free so why waste it? i hate breaking in engines..

2. You really don't know what you want.( one minute you want to drag race, next you want to drift, now you want wheelies)
.

1. i like to use my buggy on everything...it's great for drag racing(why buy a dragster when you have something you can drag with)

2. i wanted to drift once cause my friend invited me over so why would i want to buy a drift car when i can drift with my buggy and lastly i love modding my buggy...i want to get it to it's limits...i'm a basher and i just love trying new things...i ask you guys for your advice and if you guys thought it was a bad idea i would propose a new idea and u say i keep changing my mind and not use your advice! this is what i get for asking you guys for advice! grudge your a noob too you shouldn't talk :p:

If your saving for a baja, just use what you got, how it is, and just have fun with it. Dont risk screwing up somthing you have now, and just be patient until you can get what you want. I have a baja, and trust me, it is worth the wait. I have had over $6000 in rc stuff in the past year, so yes, i think we all know what saving for somthing nice is like. No one is trying to talk down on you, just getting a lil aggravated on how we give advice, and you turn around and post another topic, with another strange/pointless question.

i am trying to have fun with what i have now...i try to find cheap ways to make it better on how i bash and race, so i can still have fun and win some races.. i bash mostly on sand dunes...I'm kinda a hill billy :P hope you understand

you change you mind alot, and that seems to be the biggest issue. as stated you want to do way to much with one rig.

you want wheelies and sand and rocks, get a revo or savage

if you want drag racing and drifiting, get an onroad

if you want to race offroad, get a buggy

there is no single rig that will do it all well. They will all do it, just not as well as others.

if your saving for a baja thats cool, but you wont be able to drift with it, its 2wd.

many many many experienced members here have tried to help you (me included) and you blow it off, you dont listen to good advice, and when someone calls you on it you basicaly tell them to blow off. so I for one will quit giving you any advice.

This is one of the best if not THE best online forums period, not just RC but period. I have been helped and seen others give help, that has amazed me and proven to me that the guys on here (well most of them :P: ) are some of the most intellegent, nicest, most giving, people i have ever met online or in person.

but another thing i have learned. they dont put up with BS. when someone comes in with a know it all attitude, or just a general disrespect for other members, there stay here is very short.

i really hope you can change your ways, as you seem very avid about the hobby, but your forum usage is all wrong.

we all all trying to help you out, so listen to us and let us
