i have a hyper 8 mach .28.... you know when you lift the car off the ground and wot it the car screams soo loud! how can i get it to really high rpm on road when i wot it?? it will look so great!:)

it has a tuned pipe...its just stays on low rpms...i think its out of tune but its soo hard to tune it and it keeps changing tunes... and i dont have cotton in my tires..for extra grip on sand maybe thats it?

Put some hard foam in those tires and you will scream. If you want to hop up the tuned pipe a bit try opening the stinger a bit with a drill and a.

Temp gun and higher nitro content fuel.Regardless if you do thid or not, you will need to tune your mill. The mach 28 like most larger displacement mills will be torque monsters an not speed machines.

Try tuning your diffs with silicone diff locking fluid and get some proline road rage tires.

why do i want to lock up my diffs????? what nitro % do you recommend?? and hey does anyone know the factory tuning for the engine? i can't tune it! and it wont stick to a tune? whats up with it?

All silicone diff fluid is a "LOCKING" type fluid. It is not lie JB welding it permanent. Each one has a different weight to give it a more locked or stiffer feel. The heavier it is the more stiff and vice versa. Tuners use it to allow more control in the rear, front, center or all three if you have a three diff set up.

Since you are new, stick with 20% nitro. Learn from that and then move on. Seems that you need to learn to walk before you run..

only problem is i can't see the lsn soo well so i can't know when its flushed out.. i can flush out the hsn..haha i think I'm an expert on hsn tuning but a noob at lsn

and hey it seems like my plugs keep going bad every single day of running! i run the buggy 2 tanks each day and on my last tank before the nitro is finished i block the pipe so the engine would stop... so when its cooled down and i want to start it again(i use a bump start) the engine will start up a bit then it shows no sign of life..i open up the plug and test and it wont light up...what causes that? it only goes bad when i turn off the car!

Stopping the engine by plugging up the stinger of the pipe shoves fue in your crankcase then it shuts off. If you leave this in there for a llong time, it will gum up and make starting hard. The next time you start it, you should clear it out with a few quick blips of throttle..

You WONT. It screams because the mill has no drag on it, and nothing will make it rev the same loaded up as freewheeling.
On the other hand, if you insist on WOT it like that too much, you wont have a Mach .28 left to worry about.
Follow the above replies to get the most from it, but there is a limit.......

so whats up with the plugs now? why do they go bad when i turn off the engine? hey if i have a .28 and a 25% nitro should i get a cold plug or hot? which one lasts longer?

Nitro_Desert I strongly recomend you spend sometime reading these forums. It is obvious you are new to the hobby with little knowledge on what is good for and what isnt good for your car. I believe if you keep going on the path you are on as Brushless Boy stated you wont have a engine to worry about. You should spend some reading in here consider it homework. I myself am new to the hobby but have a extensive mechanical background which helps. Those Wot with car off the ground can kill a engine quick. I spent quite a bit of time on here just reading past posts you will save yourself a ton of problems later.

i have a lot of mechanical background... i have known how a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke engine works since i was 12! I've had some experience wit nitros...i know all about nitros and how they work...but the tuning part get since i can't see how much the needle goes through and all... and when i lift the car and hammer the throttle i just do it for fun! it sounds mean and it scares the opponents...this is why nitros are made..its made for fun! so just go out and bash and torture your engine! you can always fix it or buy a new and better one

Well I made the post cause it appears that some of your habits such as your WOT off the ground have adverse affects on a engine. Which can dramatically explain your inability to achieve a proper tune. I realize you can always get another engine but if you are damaging them by going this route you will never be able to keep the buggy running the way you want it to. I am just trying to save you cash and frustration. But in the end its your buggy your cash do as you see fit.
