I also have custom built by me 1/24 scale die cast cars and ton of muscle machines. Most of all you could have buy back in the day at the store.

I have ton Hotwheels stored away from my young days hope one day pass them on to my new born son along with all my nonsense rc stuff lol

I collect 1:32, 1:34, and 1:38 diecast cars like you see at CVS or walmart or something. I also got a case full of hotwheels. Some of them are from my grandpa and some from my uncle. Ill post pics later today if I can find them.

I have a few 1/18 and 1/24. Still have several Monogram and Revell kits unopened from when I was younger.

Mostly 1/64ish stuff these days because it's easier to store lol.

Project coming along slowly. It's all pretty much mockup still at this point but it's going in the right direction.

Changed out the window in the "show room" and added windows to the top openings. Printed up the graphics that are on the back wall now. Not permanent but I scaled down some of the images from the RedCat Garage and it does the job for mockup. Need to get "glass" in the rest of the openings, I think I figured out how to attach it on the inside using vinyl frames to hold them in place and give the interior more of a finished look.

These are using the internal lighting. I printed out some hollow half rounds in white then put a little set of LEDs my wife uses for Cricut projects into them. It's not the final form of it but it works for now.

Thats so sweet dude!! I love the yellow datsun truck!! I had a 76' that mustard yellow that we stuffed a small block v8 in . Basically a 79' camaro drivetrain . 350, turbo 350 trans, 3:73 rear end.. This was 93' -ish.. FUN and scary little ride!!

So damn cool I have to dig my old Hot Wheels out maybe some you can suggest as value. Shoot I might even sell you few to put in ur garage display?
Both those Datsun the pickup and the Dautsun Dave I would love to have not sure why I like those things just super cool to me.

The Datsuns are M2 cars I've had for a while. Since they screw mount to a base I still have the packaging in a box. Check out the Kaido House stuff if you like Datsuns. They do some cool stuff.

I have no idea on value. I purely collect based on a personal aesthetic choice so I seldom pay attention to what others are buying them for. Something about the casting or decal/paint job has to catch my eye. Sometimes it's completely random like my soft spot for that Barbie RV.

Had an idea for signs last night I jumped right into when I got home. I always scan sticker sheets since we have a Cricut and that way I can rescale them and use them on lots of different things.

So last night I printed them on velum paper and then for the Texaco sign drew up and printed a very simple light holder for it with an LED inserted on the back. Needs different infill to get rid of the pattern in the light but for a quick mock up I like it.

The other part is just an extension I printed to move the side piece out a little. I masked it and left a cutout for the signs then threw a light behind it on the inside.

My wife is leaving for a few days to visit a friend and while I plan on taking a day to go run my TRX4 this project should get some attention.

Did some redesign and lighting work over the weekend, V2 of the Texaco sign and have a couple more to put together now that I have the material thickness and glare guard dialed in.

Facelift on the showroom with a light strip integrated into the design now. Designing a switch box currently so I can control individual light elements easily. Also since all the lighting is 12V I'm setting it up so I can run it off 110v through standard plugs or power it from a little 8Ah battery I have sitting around.

This gives an idea of how it can be set up in different configurations.

Set up here as a single bay, then single with attached showroom, then double depth garage with showroom. The patio for the showroom is getting redesigned as well as the driveway and they will have integrated lighting when done.

Also added some very rudimentary blocks to the corners that function as catches. There is a dowel on one side that inserts into the buildings side and the "L" part holds the face on. Works very well and should be easily made into a part of the design.

Can't wait to see it once you build the hospital next door, with ambulance and paramedic bays. ;) and the accompanying fire station. 🤣 Looks great. 😍

Haha, check out this guy's Insta. https://www.instagram.com/1stpixdioramas/

I don't know if I've mentioned it but all of the lighting is very intentionally 110ac to 12vdc so ultimately it will be portable. I have a couple of 8aH AGM batteries out of Jeeps that would power this thing for days. I plan to take it outside this summer and get some really long exposure shots of it under the moonlight and with stars above it. Also daylight shots at different places.

It is a little bit of an obsession right now. I haven't touched anything RC other than my Micro RS4 in months. As the weather gets consistently nicer, I'm sure the itch to get outside will kick in, but this is where my focus is currently.

I love miniature anything, so I get it. 😍
