Hot Racing TD120RV02 eyelet change

I know theres a lot of opinions on these, but I already had them and they seem to be working for my expectations. A longer 120mm shock that compresses more than any others that size that I can find measurements on. The only thing is I really hate that rubber o ring eyelet. I keep having them come undone. are there any quick an easy ways to change the eyelet?

I used a piece of silicon tube with 2 motor shims back in the day .for my XXXT shocks
