Are they actually any good?? As they are pretty cheap.

And are they an adequate replacement for my Sirio, that i now wish I had never bought?

I have the 3 port .27

Horrible to tune,
Won't keep a tune,
and the worse pullstarter ever but...

When its right its great engine, however i am happy to swap out for something less powerful but more reliable. As i am fed up with the amount of time i have to spend making it run right.

Not really enough grunt for a savage the Hyper .21 but....

How old?
How much?
Pullstart?

I need a spare engine for my buggy, as i think my collari's gonna go soon and you know it'll be just before a final....

Its about 6 months old and has just over a gallon through it. I used Backyard basher 20% nitro, 16% oil. It ran great, but I needed more low end grunt for my track. It does not have a pull start. I was looking to get 100 for it. Do you want to sell your sirio? If so same questions except for the pull start cause I know it has one! Let me know.

Whats your point?

Do I really have to spell it out for you? You are offering an obviously used engine with only a $20 discount off the price of a brand new, warranted engine.

With all due respect, whilst you are completely entitled to ask what you like for your engine, you might want to reconsider your asking price if you are keen to make the sale.

The Sirio was bought in March/April and has less than a gallon through it, the pull starters are awful, I've replaced it with the internal bits from the HPI one and so far thats been much better.

Its been a bitch to tune but when its right its awesome, unfortunately I don't have the time to spend getting it bang on each time so would rather swap it out for something less hard work!! The head is scratched where I turned the sav over in the road, but I still have the original box etc.

I am open to sensible offers for this as these things are not cheap.

Cheers

Why don't you look into the XTM .247 Pro or the Fantom .27. At $140-$180 U.S they are a pretty good bang for the buck! I would keep the Siro as well as you will not get as much as you would like for it. Somtimes it takes alot longer then one would think to break in an engine and get it to run right. I had just under a gallon in one of my Ofna .25's before it started to scream and that's a good thing as I was going to throw it out! lol

From everything I've read, the XTM 24.7 or 24.7 pro are both very powerful engines and do well in the savage... It will more than likely be my next engine of choice when the time comes.

I'll let it go for $75. I'm also looking for a good tuned pipe, or well....anything you guys have to offer.

I'm running a Dirt Demon with the orig. 26 engine. Runs fine & it comes with a roto start but you have to get your own batt pack for the starter & the red push button on top needs replacing, the button just stuck on onw day so I've been using another one. The 26 has had a minor flow job on the crank, & the sleeve ports are matched to the case, about 7 tanks (20%) since new. I'm not even running the Demon right now as my other truck takes most the time, it has a 24.7 pro & comparing the 2 I'd say the 24.7 has it all over the .26 in the bottom end but the .26 has a little more top end. Unless your used to 3-needle carbs I'd say go for a 24.7 pro, for the price its hard to beat. If you want to sell your Siro post me a pic of it. I put some pics in here of both my trucks a few months back so maybe you can find them. Ones a ThunderQuake, & the other is the Demon

I have a hotbodies Lightning2 which is standard with the 26.
eople are always asking me what engine it is alot of people seem to be very suprised when they see how much low down tork/Acceleration it has..
I've had it from new about 2 months ago and apart from a little tweak after i broke the engine in I've never ad to adjust it it runs perfectly all the time..
I hope this helps..
Andy

Bomber has one in his converted maxx, but he has barely gotten the thing broken in. We should start bashing together again in the next few weeks now that his schedule is coming to a lull. From what I did see, he was pulling wheelies like a mad idiot by the time he hit his second quart during break in.
