homemade exhaust deflector

Anyone have any pictures of some homemade exhaust deflectors they have made, they look simple enough, there must be something you can use for this beisdes the boughten ones...

Sorry, but no :shrug: . I have always used store bought and usually regretted it . You need a good silicone based piece because rubber parts are going to harden with time and leak :spit: . I last used a deflector on my RS4 2 to get the exhaust outside of the body. It was a good idea but it looked stupid and if I got too close to pylons on the exhaust side it usually ripped the deflector off . If you're contemplating using a deflector see if you can come up with a better solution onder: . You're gonna pay probably $6 for one (I think the last time I bought one they were $14 and you had to buy a package of two) :OMG: and I'll bet you won't like the finished product

That is why the newer deflectors have zip tie slots to keep tham on. Just buy a dubro one they work greta.

They hold up pretty good. Currently, I'm using a piece of rubber auto fuel line with a pipe clamp.
