I got home early this morning. My flight out of Atlanta was delayed 3 hours so I got home shortly after midnight. I did make one observation at the airport and that is the people who go off on the airline workers about how it's their fault that the flight is delayed and so forth. I'm not against bitching but generally I will try to put a solution out there so that everyone will be happy.

Anyway, after getting home I started going through my files. I never imagined that it was going to take as long as it is. I only have one
memory card remaining and the total now after deleting a few blury pics or
redundant pics is somewhere around 6000 (this includes thumbs of each
individual pic). I still have a thousand of so remaining on the next card
so hopefully I'll be done later this afternoon or this evening. Anyway
I'll post pics on my web page sometime this week as well as starting to
burn CD's of the adventure. More to follow.

(I can't believe you took that many pictures!)

Assuming one was gone for two weeks and they slept eight hours each night, during their waking hours they would need to take a picture once every two minutes and fifteen seconds in order to shoot 6000 photos.

Ok, 12,414 pics now saved onto my hard drive, divided by two so there's 6,207 different pics. It's just over 1gb so it'll take 2 cd's to hold that much space. I'll edit a bit more and maybe I can cram it all onto one cd. I still am looking for dupes but I think I got most of them. I am also editing to see if any of the pics were too blury to make out what they held. I will hopefully be done sorting them tonight. Break time.

PS: Yes, I did sleep while I was there. I slept on the plane for a few hours.
