  1. Bashing
I took the tmaxx out yesterday. It had been raining and yesterday was clear skies.. So i took it out with the ramp i built out of some boxes(about 3 feet tall) and jumped it about 5-7 feet in the air.. anyhow i built a roll bar that didnt hold up as well as i thought it would... it landed on the roof multiple times and i bent the cooling head twice.. and i may have bent the case as well, where it attaches to the mount.. burnt thru a spur and lost a bottom cap to a front shock. I think i bent the shaft too.. oh yeah and broke the RF knuckle after locking the brakes to avoid hitting a car.. So now it sits.. i shimmed the motor under the mount to try to even it outit seems to mesh well now.. i need better springs bcuz it bottomed out a lot. and i almost got the hang of controlling it in the air bcuz roof landings suck. maybe ill stick with jumping it over dirt instead of concrete.. any thoughts u guys ? anybody else eff some stuff up over the weekind ?

so you beat your truck huh!

i dont think it would be wise to run that engine if you bent your block. its likely that the block has a crack under the bent tab. either way you need to replace your block!

Now that is definately the definition of bashing, almost abuse! :first_place:

maybe practicing jumping into a softer landing zone such as field grass or hay. Every ramp's characteristics will vary with different speeds. It will take practice to anticipate any particular ramp. until you,ve mastered one practice in a soft area.
