SkyRC Motor Analyzer got here earlier this week. Finally got around to unboxing and getting baseline figures on two motors out of the stash. One sensorless and one sensored.
Analyzer comes with a full array of cabling and a very complete Instruction Manual (thank you very much).
Straight away noticed the indicated endbell timing on the sensored motor is nowhere near indicated average timing on the analyzer. Endbell etchings tend toward the conservative side. Using the analyzer, be better able adjust timing for peak performance (or not). Better, methinks, than just SWAGing it.
Knob on the analyzer has both push and turn features in operation. After a few cycles, the knob tends to get pushed down on the shaft and drags on the case. Thinking I'll put a BB or something inside the female shaft on the knob to space it away from the case a bit more. Other than minor drawback, seems a quality product.
