That Hyper SSTE looks great!

I may have to pick up some plasti dip spray... if they have it in white. That crackle is most excellent IMO. I wonder if the other coats of paint were not completely dry.

You must keep me posted on that ESC/motor combo performance as I have the exact same one going in my truggy... I just go to find the time to get life, home, kids, work, other RC projects in order. :D

If you feel the truggy lacks any steering, the VS2 Akermann bar swap/mod is out there. I'd run the truggy/tune the thing as is before modding a perfectly good platform.

thats the reason why i did keep this body. i love this crackle.
and paint was completely dry - i'm sure as i was using really thin layers and dry it with blower.
this plasti dip compound gets all way to the body shell trough ALL the layers
Diff Tuning...
Thank you. i used to do a lot of simracing (not the games, but 6-12hrs races) so i know how diffs influence on driving characteristics
P.S. i wouldn't trast this chart. just imagine - center diff oil thicker - that will effectively lift front up - how it can INcrease "on throttle steering"
i suspect - it's a mistake as it doesn't make any sense to me.
it might work for 1:1 cars - when you have nearly constant grip F to R. but in RC - you will just do a wheelie and develop 0 traction on the front

Stock Diff Fluids and Shock Oil

I contacted Hobao directly ;) about what is put in the diffs and shocks at factory...

Now you have something to base adjustments off of.
WOW man!
Thank you so much!
It's a great starting point for me.
and it makes sense for me (why i wanted to do a thinner oil in C)
Well, re-build is going to happen today and tomorrow, so i will update the thread
