  1. Bashing
just fixed my tmaxx 3.3 and when i fired it up the rpms went out of control. and it started to run off but i got it before that happened. what is wrong it is still new only 1 gallon of nfuel run through it. forgot to say that i jaked up my spur gear too.

did that and still the high rev finaaly got my rpm skid plat and servo gaurd but dont want to put them on because that dam thang wont run right. so angry:angry:

does it sound like its whining cause if it does richen it out a lot

no it is like wot and i have to shut it down fast, just found something though the air filter is stopping the linkage to the carb from returning to idle position. can i start it with out the air filter off? this way i can find out if this is the problem. i fried a spur gear due to this problem. it melt the teeth off. . i finally got my rpm center skid and a servo guard in the mail but haven't put them on because i can't get it to run right and what is the use to protect the under belly if i not bashing on it?:(

what did the carb looked like was it open or closed

Dont run it without the air filter it will suck in everything dust and all that dont do it

ok i wont start it with out the filter the carb is being held open

If your going to just start it without the airfilter, you can. Do not run it around with the airfilter off. Try moving your carb to the left or right, so it don't screw with the linkage.

what do you mean if i move the carb i move the egine

I think they mean..loosen the carb lock and rotate the carb body to the left or to the right so the throttle linkage is either higher or lower to avoid having it rub against anything and bind.
Don't forget to tighten it back up again...lol
