High clearance links

High clearance links are bent, so they have to be longer to keep the wheelbase the same as before.

Well I’ve got the 12.8” TRX4 and a SCX10 iii and on both when I put the high clearance links together the holes are about 1/4” off from the stock location
I get the link has to be longer because of the bend do when I put them side by side the link ends on the high clearance links are a 1/4” longer which will push the wheelbase out by 1/2” total. 1/4” on the front and 1/4” on the back

Which links do you have, because if that's the case, it might be a manufacturing/design issue (or labeling error).
