High center Shafty axles

SOOOO...... I was looking thru my pile of parts and I have 2 tmaxx diffs. Then the though came to mind, what if I mounted axle tubes off of it at a slight downward angle, ran the shafts through the center. Could be an interesting start to a shafty crawler, I also have a stampede.....hmmmm

Guess nothing ventured nothing gained, let us now how it works out for you, not sure what the gearing is for those but I guess it could be worked out through the pinion and spur if they are geared to high.

Mostly just thinking out loud, got to finish the current project first. Should be done in a week or two.
