Beautiful job once again, NC! I wish I was that talented to do a really custom paint job. I can do factory look paint jobs but just can't seem to get my head around the really sharp jobs like your flames. Great job once again!

hard body for a revo 3.3 true flame I know who I got it from must be heart broke he let it go he loved that bod! What kind of texture paint is that on there?

Ok, I know the one. But there was no texture paint on that lid.

Maybe he's referring to that magic flat black we use for bed liners and fender flares. Thanks again for that tip. I just used it today....again.

Yeah that sounds like what I'm talking abouts its black anyway and just a little bit gritty. But what is it or I could be loosen my mind ( wich seems to happen alot) and this stuff is not even on this body but I'm still curious?

Probably plasti-dip. That's what it sounds like.

Unless the po added something to the lid, that one had no plasti-dip or flat black on it. So I really couldn't tell ya.

Glad your liking that tip Rolex, I plan to use that for the flares on my new Tamiya YJ

Thanks Joe, this thing is friggin' sweet! The whole shop gathered around when I took it out of the box. You should have seen all the jaws dropping! Like you said, the pics just didn't do it justice. I'll post pics when I get it mounted, probably won't be for while though.

They're probably the decals that came with the body.
BTW NCNitro, I like the way you did the 'dots' around the windows....very nice touch.
I'm gonna do the same thing to my Chevy Hd body.

Yeah, I did not paint the headlights, they are the included decals. Thanks to Parma, there were no grill decals, or hood emblem decal either, I used carbon fiber decal for the grille which looked really cool in person, and I had a nascar decal sheet I stole a dodge emblem from for it too. Plus they still don't use an overspray film on the body :\
