Michael from Frequency RC sent me some decals (BTW quality job on them...just make sure you get them positioned correctly the first shot; they are hard as hell to lift for repositioning).

Thanks guys.

Here are a few shots of my Humvee Maxx with them:

Nice a tip on that is get a spray bottle put a couple drops of liquid detergent in with water and mist a little where you are applying decals this will let you foat them to where you want them then once they dry they are there...X

That works on stickers? I'll have to try it. I knew it worked on decal decals; didn't know it worked on sticker decals.

Thanks for the tip.

X is correct on that. I use windex and that works, but not as well as water and detergent.

Great pictures Sky!!!! Your placement could not be more perfect! Thanks for representing.

Offer still stands for posters with 75+ posts. I have a few more left and wont be cutting more until RC Expo.

Hit me up at [email protected]

mjime714 - are you making these yourself? If not who makes them for you?

-WoodiE

A close friend of mine has a vinyl cutter. Email me if you are interested in getting some done for you. Ill get you prices.

Woodie - shoot me some designs you want printed too! I can have some vinyl cut by the time you get here.

In no way am I trying to steal business Mjime - just if we can get a production ready print for you then you guys can mass produce them for us!!!!

No prob Çh®i§tiªñ. I am in no way trying to make money here.

All I would need to cut the stickers is an illustrator3.AI file. All vector and no bitmap images. If you do not have the ability to do that, I can. Let me know if you guys need any help with graphic design.

black and white in paths. Make sure there are no overlapping paths. The plotter cuts along all paths so if there are overlapping paths, my guy will not know where to pluck. Let me know though how many. Although I have the resource, he my not be the cheapest. :p

Wait, I'm confused. I thought you were going to cut WoodiE some stickers.

lol Woodie and I want the same thing, or similar, printed. He just happens to be coming here soon. Anyhow, I'm sure WE will be sending you some images to vector and/or vinylize ;)

So Christian you like my idea LOL

Just let me warn you. Vinyl cut stickers are not friendly if you have a lot of thin lines. Make sure your design does not have thin lines and is not very intricate.

Remember, they are hand plucked meaning a flat sheet of vinyl is cut using a plotter and the extra vinyl around the design needs to be taken out. That is done by hand using a pair of tweezer. The more detailed the more expensive.

I've seen the decal idea on cars befor so it shouldn't be a probelm

I'm Sorry...

I'm actually talking about the process of making the sticker. Plucking vinyl is a b*tch if it is really detailed and has a lot of thin lines. I'm talking about like anything below 5 pt gets really hard to pluck without ripping the important part of the vinyl, your design.

No prob - I can 'weed' the vinyl. Shouldnt be anything below 5 pt though.

Mayhem - do you have a blank of JUST the pissing on HWOQ?
