I currently have a tmaxx with a picco .21 and an XTM X-Terminator. wasn't even really in the market for another buggy but tonight i got a call from a friend... He said that he just got an Inferno MP 7.5. He also just bought a new 1/1 car and wants to sell the Inferno allready for quick $$. It is brand spankin new, fully assembled. He wants to sell me the roller (no mill, electronics or linkage) for $150. I dont know a whole lot about this buggy (seen a few posts on it), but it seemed like a good deal. I wanted to get all your expertise: should i go for it or not.

I bash mostly, cause the nearest track is a ways away. Would this buggy be better for that, or should i stick with my X-Terminator?

Thanks for the help!!!

Also ill try to get some pics posted in a while.

Looks nice but you will need engine mounts, thicker towers., oh yeah where are the stone guards? If you were me you could do it since I have the parts necessary but since no, Consider the parts you will need to get it running.

i totaly agree with jon ...all the little things screws, mounts, pipe, coupler, servos, linkage, etc. will add up quick ...do some price shopping to find out what the buggy will cost you in the end ....may or may not be worth it to you

Hey cobra, hows the X-Terminator going for ya?

As for the MP7.5, thats what I upgraded to after I sold you the X-Term, its a great buggy. What you need to do is see if the guy has the stone guards, linkages, servo mounts, and all those little things that should have come with the kit. If he does than definetely go for it thats a great deal. If he doesn't have any of those things for some reason it may not be the best way to go.

Recently I bought a 1:1 car too and have to sell my MP777. Its gunna be a lot more than 150$ lol, its got a Novarossi P5, MX-A w/2 awesome servos, nice tires, custom paint job, a lot of other stuff, and its all built. About 1000$ into and I really don't want to sell...:( Anyway, good luck!

Oh, and retarded pilot, hows the MP7.5 going for you? :)

Thanks for the help guys. I dont believe he has the stone guards or the servo mounts. I'm not worried about the engine or electronics, cause ill just transfer that stuff from my the X-Terminator. I will have to get the stone guards, servo mounts, and linkages though.
I love my xterminator, but since this has come up it has got me thinking. It would be nice to upgrade. Just wanted to make sure that this would be a nice upgrade from the xterminator. For what I'm getting is 150 a good deal? I have the engine, pipe and electronics, but will also need some extras. I have to let him know if i want it within a few hours. Just tryin to decide wether its worth the extra hassle or not. If you have an opinion or advise, id love to hear it!
Thanks again,

Oh, BTW AC48, the xterminator is working great. Its kinda funny that i keep following your footsteps lol.

lol yea, I liked mine a lot. THe whole buggy felt lighter and more nimble than the X-Term. I jumped it just has high and it held up fine. If all you need to get is the guards, mounts and linkages that won't be much $ at all. I would say go for it and sell the X-Terminator roller on eBay to pay for the costs of those extra litle parts, justs my opinion.

Those buggies sell for 350$ new with only the stuff in the pic, of course they come with the guards, linkages, and servo mounting stuff.

I believe you need:

and some servo horns, but you can probably take those from your X-T

Thanks for the links AC48! I was lookin for that stuff, and couldnt find it. Anyhoo, i decided not to go for the buggy. I may be crazy, but I'm very happy with my x-terminator still. I have absolutely no complaints or problems with it. Maybe down the road ill buy a kit like the new cheaper XB8 (cause I've allways wanted to put one together myself)
I'm also going off to college in August. Ill probably be pretty busy with school and what not, and dont know how often ill be able to get home and run the buggy :\ . Maybe i can find a good place to bash there and bring it with me. Figured ill just stay with what i have atleast for now. Anyhoo, thanks for the help, i really appreciate it!!!!
