hello i got a smartechracing monster truck i thing it is a nockoff of the tmaxx 1/10 scale it is a couple of years old. i can,t get good distance with it before it goes out of control. i have put new cystels 29MHz new Ariel new battery's in car and control. all the servos and 27MHz am receiver and control is smartech i,m only getting about 25 to 30 foot at the max any ideas y or wait to do to get better coverage

sounds like the antenna in the receiver is broken off, or the wire to the transmitter antenna.....

My experience of this tells me that the receiver may have got wet sometime in the past, has happened to me a couple of times. Only thing to do is get a new receiver.

ok i think i worked it out the power plug was pluged in but the pins that are in the plug were out i little bit seems to be fine now but thanks for all your help

buy a new reciver and change the batterys in you controller charge the ones for the reciver and then try it

Check the reciever, or the antenna wire or your crystals.
