Parameters:

Brand new XTM XT2
Brand new 457 installed

Problem: Starving for fuel on upper end.

Things I have already checked:
engine screws
fuel lines
fuel tank

note : also looking for a larger fuel tank to fit this buggy, no mpg here:whhooo:

Richen the high speed needle.

You may be rushing the breakin, they take a long time to break in.
Check your exhaust seals....

what makes you think its starving for fuel?

Fuel filter clogged or leaking air? Pressure outlet on the pipe free of debris?

As you properly break in your mill your fuel consumption will improve. Most engines will burn an average size tank of fuel up in 5 minutes when new.
