hi

been here five mins and I'm already asking for help lol

I bought a losi lst2 yesterday to replace my savage which tbh was hammered, I'm running it in BUT the gears or something else dosen't engage, ie the revs have to build up for the truck to move anywhere on idling the wheels are not moving I've tried the slipper clutch and the gearbox (adjusting the change settings) but that hasn't helped. its only done 3 tanks so far is this why idont really know anything about these so all and any help is welcomed

THANK YOU

Brian

Try inspecting your clutch bell for grease from the bearings. I had the same problem a year ago with my LST. My LST2 hasn't had that problem though. If this doesn't solve your problem, check out the OWB on the 1st gear spur.

I know I bought Losi CB bearings from stormerhobbies awhile back when I was getting a new bell for a buggy. The bearings were loaded up pretty heavily with a heavy oil. neobart may be right.

Or, it could be stuck in second gear... does it go oddly fast once it gets moving? Or, does it never actually build up any speed?

I had that problem with my Bros LST. His LST had a bunch of things wrong. RX battery too weak (replaced with a Rechargeable pack), Glitching( Pack fixed it), not moving like the slipper was too loose but it was actually the clutch assmbly was a mess. The bell was oiled and so slippery, the shooes got soaked in that mess. I cleaned up the clutch and installed aluminum shoes. Problem solved. Then since we thought it was the slipper we had to adjust that. It rocks now but it was a rough start. Let us know what you find though.

Fixed and solved it was a combinaion really

re set gears and the slipper clutch, they were way out, this had a slight affect but i finaly traced it to the cluch springs they are far far too stiff needed a screwdriver to make them go up and down. replaced these and wow my god does this truck move or what out paced savvys and revos and best of all it wasn't even tuned properly very happy

Thanks for the help guys
