RC Driving Style
My XL is holding 1st gear forever and sometimes NEVER shifting out of it, then everyonce in awhile it will shift into 2nd and then hits 3rd, but for the most part its just staying in first. Its a week old! Nothing seems broken, it was running great just last night and I was hitting all the gears fine. I did try messing with the 3rd gear setting so it would hit 3rd faster, but that was only a tiny small adjustment, did I do something wrong?. There are 2 small allen screws that you can turn to adjust 3rd gear, one is kinda sunk in and one of the allen screws is not. SHould the one thats sunk in be turned all the way to the right or left cuz I was told that wasn't the right one for 3rd gear and I think I messed with it?. Is my tuning off and thats why it won't shift?
 
make sure ur getting full throttle.i was only gettin 2nd gear til i put a wire tie round metal bit between throttle n brake horns.
 
check the slipper clutch, it may need a few turns. Also, check that all the screws are tight, I had the engine mount come lose after the 3rd run or so.
