Help with starter conversion

New to nitro and RCT so bear with me. I'm wanting to convert my tmaxx (2.5 converted to 3.3) from an EZ Start to a roto/torque start. My problem is the roto start plate I have requires a hex shaped one way bearing and my engine has the standard 3.3 shaped one.

Can I simply get a hex owb and install?

Couple of things regarding this rotostart.

Grease the gears a little before assembling. Don't overtighten, it's easy to do, and the assembly will bind, and the plastic will crack and crumble apart eventually.

Otherwise these rotostarts work really well. I have one in my tmaxx, and one in my drag car. Big weight saving over the EZ Start.
