Hi guys I'm a big savage lover but have always loved my revo anyway today I got a jato 2.5 in trade for a tmaxx and the jato is really hopped up but has blown motor I have a good ofna 21 buggy motor just not sure if it will work on the jato so does the jato have a bb kit like the revo or can someone tell me how to make this work or maybe somebody would trade me for an engine that will work dont mind modifying the truck just not sure where to start if interested I have three street cars that are about 80 percent complete that could trade for an engine thanks guys

New Era has a BB conversion kit for the jato:

Engine mount, chassis plate and rear support extension. Not sure if it comes with a header, but you would need one and a new pipe.

The jato is a great rig as it is without a BB in it though. With RPM arms all around, it's pretty tough. The two speed adds the torque and top speed that makes a BB really unnecessary IMHO. I sought one out because I missed my xxx-nt, but I always wished it had a 2 speed in it for bashing. I doubt I'll ever git rid of the jato, it just fits a niche for me.

Thanks for the tip my father in law bought a hellfire which easily outruns my savage x just wanna be able to outrun him maybe the jato will do that stock I will let ya know thanks for the tip

If you can keep tha front end on tha ground tha savage doesn't stand a chance on top end.. Jato is a little tougher to race I would imagine..
