help with frequency

i am bout to purchase a t-maxx for my gf's boy.....only rc i have ever owned is a revo I've had for a little over week....its got the 2.4 ghz radio....
the question i have is...when i try to order the tmaxx its making me choose a frequency.....can i change frequency on the tmaxx or am i stuck at the one i choose....just wonder cause it would suck to end up with the same freq as a friend and not be able to play with them.....thanks for the help guys...later..

Yeah, you can always buy different crystals for the radio/rx.

I am assuming the tmaxx still comes with a tq3 AM radio...I'm not positive though.

The newer T-Maxx models are also coming with the 2.4 GHz TQ radio. I saw it at my LHS yesterday.
