i have just bought this body but i don't know were to cut it for the best place on a savage x?

With that kind of body, cutting a hole for the pullstart will probably be a waste of time. It will sit high above the PS so you won't be able to reach it. Your best bet would be to either start the car then put the body on or see if you can draw the pull start out a wheel well. Something like that.

For cooling, I'd take out about half the front and rear windshield. Gotta get a good smooth flow of air over the cooling head. That should work fine.
