I really need some help tuning.

Granted i am in connecticut and it is cold.

I can pretty much get it dialed in at WOT, but i am having a hard time with the idle.

no matter what i do, i can't get the rpms down with stalling, or with it moving forward at idle.

today it was running great.....i took it to the beach. it was hauling and ran great, but from a dead start sometimes it is sluggish and it wont do a wheelie. granted the tires are spinning, but even on the grass this thing wont flip.

these cars are more finicky than my real car (my evo)

Set all your setting to factory specs. Then tune as instructed. 3.3 motors do not like major adjustments. Only adjust in very small increments. When the weather is cold they run lean and you have to fatten them up a bit. Once you get the hsn set go to your lsn and if truck will not idle for a minute and motor speeds up before dying fatten it up a little if it slows down before dying lean it out a bit. Then adjust idle so truck will not try to crawl. I had to fatten mine up to get it to shift. rember small adjustments and if it gets crazy go back to factory settins and start over.

If it's below 40F, forget about it. ;)

Just be glad you can get it running and running well enough to drive. I've been running nitro for 8+ years, winter, spring, summer and fall. When the temps drop below 35F, they just don't run right and you will pull your hair out trying to get it to run like they do in the summer.

Some engines differ from others as I've had better luck with small blocks than big blocks when it's cold though.

i can get it to run great at WOT and haul ass....the idle is the pain.

i guess i will just have to wait until it gets warmer....today was around 35 when i was running her....and i was on at the beach....

the beach where i am....right now the sand is all flat and kind of hard....it got her up to full speed...and even on the sand i still got her to flip will turning....

she is going to be down until my motor saver shows up...i was tuning and playing after the beach with the top off...flipped it and brong the filter housing...so i got no filter now....

tuning for me is the fun part. i tune my evo with a aem standalone and i am faced with same thing when tuning in winter vs summer...but i never really change anything besides turn the boost down a lil when it is super cold...these engines have a vary narrow tuning range i am finding.

thanks for the help
