I like those wheels, not really sure about the combo on that specific car though. At any rate, BBS style rims always look racy. To me they look best on a touring sedan but I'm sure they'll look good on teh S7 too.

personally, i like 5 star rim patterns the best. i'm sure the car will come out great tho

You'll like the look of those wheels with the paint scheme I have in mind.
All my monster truck wheels have been spoked, and I'm just tired of them. These were the rims that came with the drift tires I got on line, and I also have the same rims from HobbyTown that came mounted with race tires.
The drift Rims are chrome, and the racing rims are brushed chrome and look exactly like machined aluminum.

I liked the look of the treaded tires...for display purposes, if you can believe that. :hehe:

Well, I was about to give you a tip not to spend too much time on a touring car body if it's your first touring car, but I shoulda known. :hehe: I spent a good week doing up a replica DENSO Supra body for my nitro RS4, and first time out with it (new to touring cars then) got a full 2 laps, then a traction roll followed by a slide perfectly balanced on the roof for about 75 feet. :( Congrats on the new car BTW, you can't beat free!

Paint is going on nicely. This lid will only be on for parking lot cruising.
I still have the ugly Honda lid it came with. That lid and the stock tires are what I can beat it around with.

ROLEX beating an RC? even parking lot putting? WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TOO!!!! :whhooo::\

I remember now why I avoid this place during riding season; BECAUSE I CAN'T AFFORD TO DO BOTH! :hehe: You're killing me Rolex, now I want to dig out my RS4 and get the speed demon going again.

Are you running brushless? Any recommendations?
After painting dozens of monster truck lids, this one is absolutely turning out to be my favorite body project. I've spent about 20 hours on it, and another 30 just looking at it. I'm about half way through with the exterior trim, but I'm adding in a lot of scale options that take time.
Just sitting on the bench, mounted on the chassis, it looks like it's doing 180 MPH.
