I have had my new revo for about 1 year and i've gone though 3 manifolds. They are breaking at the part by the eninge right off the mounting part every time. Is this from vibration or is there a better stronger manifold i can buy? thanks in advance.:flaming:

any idea if your shock tower/body post area are hitting the manifold when you land on the rear of the truck after a jump?

or does the truck ever land on the rear? ever jump it?

ye i have but today it broke when i was doin a straight away run

Traxxas headers break really easy, there known for it. You can simply buy a os.18tm header, and it will work way better then the traxxas. Power is the same, but youll never need another one. It attaches with springs instead of bolting straigh to the block, which gets rid on viberation cracks, or snaping.

I'm with bryson on this one. When I first got the revo, I broke 4 headers in 2 months. At $23 a piece, it added up pretty quickly. None of which where directly related to a rear landing. The all broke right where it bolts to the engine like yours. All of the broke upon landing a jump. Just the impact of the chassis slapping the ground snapped them.

The os 18TM revo header hasn't failed me yet. Considering it uses springs to hold it onto the engine, it allows flex from the spring, not from the header itself. Plus, OS's is just built better.

A few weeks ago, the same thing happened to my jato. In the exact same spot as it did on the revo. I replaced it with a spare (non traxxas) header I had laying around and haven't had a problem since.
