i have a thunder tiger TS-N4, i recently brought a 2speed transmission for it, i put it all together, but now when i run it, it doesn't change gear and its running slow, can any one help me?

many thanks

It may be that rather than not shifting, it shifts immediately. That's why it's running slow. What you want to do is find the little grub screw on the side of the shift clutch (should be on the opposite side of the larger gear in the tranny, or between the two gears, looks like a little metal drum) and tighten it 1/8 turn. Do this until you get the shift point the way you want it. (don't confuse it with the setscrew, which is the one in the middle)

hey

hey mate thanks ill try that then, so all i gotta do is turn it 1/8 clockwise until I'm satisfied.?

many thanks

Look at the adjustment as if it were a clock. Turn it clockwise from Noon to one, that's later. Counter clockwise to 11 is earlier. That's the way it would shift. Never go more than an hour at a time.
