Help please trying to identify this car HPI rs4

Hi just picked this up am trying to figure out what this one is I think it’s a rs4 trying to find a body

Well I’m still on the fence if I’m going to keep it to fix or sell it runs but the pull rope broke and I don’t have a body for it

This appears to be one of the first rs4. Started belt, then shaft single seed to shaft 2 speed.
190mm or 200mm touring body should work. If it's the string and not spring, that's an easy fix.

The 15fe was replaced by t15 and now t/g 3.0. You have the upgraded cooling head.

I think I need the pin type wheels, without the hex. Then the skinny bearing fronts.

You have one of the best nitro on-roads ever made! They’re super reliable, quick, handle well, and can be completely upgraded and customized. Looks to be very original, even has a two speed! In running condition I’ve seen these sell for $150-250 typically. It’s worth keeping though, they’re fantastic cars and they share parts with the super nitro and nitro RS4 mini.

You can put just about any 200mm HPI body on it as they all have standardized body mounts. So if you have an old pre-drilled body from a R40, RS4-3, nitro drift etc it’ll be direct fit if you need something in a pinch.
